Right-Left Brain
I wanted to share with you, some facts about neuroscience that I have gathered and it was fun to know, how our brain controls our body. Wait for an interesting technique at the end of this article.
Alright, did you know that your left side of body is controlled by right-brain? Also, are your aware, right side of body is controlled by left-brain? Read again.
Interesting huhh?? The left-brain is the logical, intellectual, calculative, mathematical, analytical, perspective-oriented, organising, data-driven part of brain. On the other side, the right-brain is the creative, artistic, intuitive, emotional, cognitive, reflexive part of brain.
Interesting fact now is to also check which of your brain sides, is more active. Let’s do an excercise, fold your hands on your chest as if you are HUGGING yourself. Do not see the next instruction. Just observe your hands as I repeat – fold your hands on your chest as if you are HUGGING yourself. Which hand is above the other? Please note carefully. The hand which is over the other hand will determine which brain side is more active in your case. So for example – if your left hand is above right hand while you hug yourself, it means your right side of the brain is active. This is because right-brain controls the left side of your body.
See the working of left and right brain as mentioned in the beginning of this blog and analyse for yourself. Take a review of your life. Now just reverse your hands to hug yourself again, putting the other hand on top; you will feel awkward in your own self 😁
