Visible-Vs-Invisible

Hello Co-Earth Mates,

During a conversation with my mother, regarding the 5- days’ extensive Chhat Puja, the most popular festival in the state of Bihar & Jharkhand in East India, we concluded that none of us have ever seen any god with our own eyes.

Then how did we personify each god with two eyes, one nose, two lips, two ears and a body like a human being? From where, after all, this visual got into our belief systems about this higher being, fondly called, “God”?

On the contrary, we can see Sun, Moon, Fire, Water, Earth, Sky & Feel Air. Our body, mind & soul cannot function in the absence of any of these seven elements. Still, we pay no respect to these.

Chhat Puja is about revering & thanking the “Sun” for everything it does to sustain life on earth like giving warmth, clean air, light, causing photosynthesis, greenery, agriculture, vanishing darkness which also symbolizes illuminating the goodness around.

Similarly, “Moon” has its special significance for nourishing and beautifying the earth. It is responsible for water element on earth and in our physical bodies. Spiritually, “Moon” signifies feminine power, wisdom, sub-conscious, dreams, ancestral support, intuition, divinity, etc.

In AsTarotscope and Psychic Tarot Reading along with other such predictive sciences, sun, moon & the five life elements have great significance. Ironically, we waste water, pollute air, throw garbage here and there; thus, causing every possible harm to our ecosystem and its life-saving elements.

We prefer to worship the ones who are invisible and whose actual shape and size is unknown to us but those visible & available ones, are grossly ignored and continuously disrespected.

In all religious scriptures, the formless creative energy of the source has been mentioned as the one truth. It has been acclaimed widely that this formless energy takes forms to support human life on earth and to maintain equilibrium. In that sense all the above-mentioned visible elements are forms of that ultimate source of energy which created life and this universe. So, shouldn’t they be praised, worshiped, loved, respected and cared for, before anyone else?

Think about it- are you too, focused more on invisible ones and less on the visible guides? If yes, it’s time to shift your focus and turn to gratitude and deep respect for these forms of energy rather than the traditional customs you follow since childhood- worshiping the idols which are handed over from generation after generation.
